The real estate industry experienced a steep decline in 2020, and just as developers began to believe that the 'worst is over,' the country experienced a much stronger second COVID wave during March-June 2021, which negatively impacted demand in almost every sector of the economy, including real estate, but it redeemed itself in the latter half of the year. According to Planet Smart City's CHRO, Angelo Bestazzi, HR will be a part of the solution and will continue to be at the forefront of all important better collaboration in the new era of work, facilitating better career experiences, improving cross-management and interdepartmental functioning, owning business transformation, or providing inclusive and purpose-driven equitable benefits.
